Our aims and objectives

What we signed up to deliver — and measure ourselves against.

These aims are drawn verbatim from our registered Statement of Purpose. We publish them here so families and commissioning authorities can hold us to them — and so our own team has a clean list to audit against.

   A high-quality, flexible provision

   Each service user's quality of life is protected by care that is flexible, efficient and genuinely value for money — not a generic package.

   Community-based homes

   Real homes in real villages — so life continues to include shops, pubs, cinemas, and the people who staff them — not an institutional setting pretending to be otherwise.

   Skills development — inside and out

   Active support for personal and interpersonal skills, within the home and well beyond it: local colleges, activity groups, supported employment on the estate.

   Participation in running the home

   Service users share responsibilities and decisions about their home. Care plans are written with them, not at them.

   Keyworker relationships

   Each service user has a named keyworker — the one staff member whose job is to know their daily life, family contacts and preferences in detail.

   Liaison, review, and honest reflection

   We work closely with each service user's network of care professionals, involve them in regular reviews, and audit ourselves against our stated aims.
